Co-fermentation of 95% Syrah | 5% Roussanne - Caliza Vineyard
A popular blend in 2012, we decided to make it again. Mimicking the Cote Rotie style from France but using Roussanne, this is a big wine but has a brightness from that white Rhone grape. It has some mild smoky elements and dark cherry on the nose,
similar notes on the palate with soft tannins. Needs some time but
nothing a good decant wouldn't help if you can't wait to crack this one
open.
